(Week 5) Games of Interest

Virginia v Notre Dame
A&am v Arkansas (A&M will likely throttle the hogs)
USC v Washington (At least it’s two top ten teams)

Neither team is in the top 10. Washington is 17th in both polls and USC is 21st in the AP and 25th in the Coaches poll.

Yep, Arky is pitiful these days & Ole Miss is not far behind them.

One possibly interesting game this weekend is #7 Auburn vs. 3-1 MooU.

Auburn has 2 Top 20 wins already, #11 Oregon & #17 Texas A&M (when they played).

Not sold on Malzahn, but still good for us to get them in Tiger Stadium.

Not sure I’m convinced Clemson deserves #1 ranking. Unless we’re basing it on what they did last year.

Agreed. Long way from 9-6 game of the century.

I think both LSU and Bama have some issues on defense but talent is an issue. These issues are correctable.

I think there will definitely be a shake up in the polls this week. Ohio State will probably jump LSU for the 5 spot. Even though Nebraska is a bad football team, Ohio State looks really good on all levels.

Clemson looked bad today. But if the talking heads are going to hold back LSU for our questionable defense, Bama should be held back as well and shouldn’t jump Clemson.

Their defense looks very suspect. And if we don’t get a pass on injuries, neither should they. So I don’t think Bama should be #1

No doubt. That’s all that matters. I personally hope LSU gets bumped in the polls. They play better when doubted (except against Bama)

I don’t mind polls. And I enjoy LSU being back in the national conversation, I just get annoyed when talking heads talk out of both sides of their mouth while attempting to justify points that completely contradict theirselves.
