Rabalais & his other chubby friends at the Baton Rouge Advocate wrote a mean spirited hit piece on Les Miles at Kansas. Too chickenshit to put his/their name(s) on the rancid article. "Advocate Staff". This was not lost in LSU fans that actually liked averaging 10 wins a seasons, for 11 seasons. It's been posted on Facebook, Twitter & Instagram.
This time the Chubby Boys going after Les Miles recruiting this time:.

-Miles takes the Kansas job November 19, 2018.
-Doesn't have a complete Staff at all. Only keeps 2 coaches from previous stats, running backs coach & linebacker coach, the rest are all new.
-Has exactly 1 month until Early Signing Day December 19, 2018.
-Kansas had 1 recruit, a white 3 star running back who ran a 4.88. He initially decided to stay, but then decommited 2 days later. Cole Mueller. Maybe Bob's son? Naw, kid looked like a ginger & Bob's too old.
-Miles begins with only 62 players on scharship, but could not take a full allotment if 25 in 2019, due to very poor roster management by the firmer coach.
- Signs 10/11 recruits, including landing Kansas' best Safety prospect & a Juco 3 star QB. He had to sort through a few Juco's after most have been sifted though. Does a very good job with this, landing a few undecided.
-Ranked #115 class on 247sports, up from #184 where he started, when Rabalais & Morning Advocate prints out the pitiful story above. "Got 'em this time, sumbitch!" ...giggles Disco Derek Ponamsky in the background.
-Miles new OC takes a Head Coaching job, causing some fast reshuffling within the 1 month time.
-Miles finishes his coaching staff & plus adds 8 analysts (Which he didn't have at LSU)
-February 6, 2019 National Signing Day
-Kansans, previously not expecting too much, watch in amazement, as Les Miles1 unveils the entire new class. One thread: "Has it ever been like this?". Most say 'hell no, not ever'.
-New Coach, Les Miles lands the #65 recruiting class in America in 2 months & 2 weeks on the job... in Kansas. Taking only 19 recruits. He inks almost every single target 247sports thought possible & Rivals.com as well, plus a few more.
-The coup de gras, was swiping a very good linebacker recruit out from under mighty K-State on signing day & Texas DE\LB 4 Star Texas 5A Defensive player of the year Stephen Parker. Take note of mighty K-State ranked #62 with 21 recruits...up just 3 spots from Kansas, which is unusual in the state. To be fair, K-State has a new coach as well. But K-State is a Football school, Kansas is all Basketball.
Rivals ranks Kansas & K-State both at #67. K-State not happy, Kansas in somewhat disbelief. Les Miles gets the nod imo, because he only signed 18/19 recruits, compared to K-Stare's 21.
True, a #65 ranking would be terrible at LSU. But stating the blatantly obvious, Kansas is nowhere LSU in talent, wins, conference..anything to do with football really. A 4 Star recruit is similar to a 5 star there, from what I've gathered.
Mike Farrell, Rivals Recruitung Analyst sums up Miles first class:
https://n.rivals.com/news/how-new-power-five-coaches-fared-in-their-first-recruiting-cycle
"Miles is a very good recruiter, one of the best in the business, but he has his work cut out fir him at Kansas. Winning and staying competetive will be the keys to recruiting for Miles, although his connections to Texas and Louisiana will help. He should be able to upgrade recruiting for Kansas
Grade: B"
Anyone else seen a recruiting class move from #184 all the way up to #65? That's a 119 spot move up the recruiting chart.
Miles moved his recruiting class up from #115 when Rabalais & friends ran the Baton Rouge artical, 50 spots up & finishing nowhere close to
the worst class in Kansas history. Many have said it may be one of the best, considering the circumstances.
