Roscoe aka. Mike VI July 23, 2005 - October 11, 2016.

LSU's live tiger mascot Mike VI has been on the LSU campus since August of 2007, and is the only live tiger mascot on a college campus in the entire Country.

This morning, Monday, October 10th via Mikes FB page (www.Facebook.com/MikeTigerVI), it was announced that he has made the transition to his night house for hospice care. He will no longer make the trips outside to his habitat for all of his fans. Today is a very sad day for the LSU faithful, as it appears the end is near for our beloved icon of LSU.

This morning, Tuesday, October 11th Mike VI was humanely euthanized after a 4 month long battle with spindle cell sarcoma.

We welcome all of you to post and share your pictures of Mike VI, and share any stories you may have while visiting him.
These pictures were taken from a poster named tirk on another site.

Here is a picture of hybrid Siberian/Bengal tiger cub Roscoe who would go on to become Mike VI and the icon of LSU Nation.
