The History Channel has been showing shows all day on 09/11. In roughly 30 minutes they are showing one that hasn't been before. Bush returning to DC from Florida aboard Air Force One.

Bush went to Colorado to some super security bunker before retiring to DC. On the way to Colorado Air Force One made a stop at Barksdale Air Force base in Shreveport.

The first thing that comes to mind is the NORAD facility inside Cheyenne Mountain. He would have to have landed at the Colorado Springs airport. I was working for a Government contractor at the time and didn't hear anything about it that day or afterwards. Cheyenne Mountain wouldn't have given him an advantage over the facilities in the DC area.

As I remember he went to offit afb in Nebraska which had an underground bunker also.
