The Playoff Predictor was already really high on both Clemson and LSU heading into Week 2, with the best and third-best odds, respectively, of making the College Football Playoff.

But with both teams earning big wins in Week 2, those odds just got a little bit stronger. Clemson continues to lead the way with an almost-unheard-of 83% chance of making the playoff, and a 33% chance of winning it all.

LSU, meanwhile, is up to a 54% chance of making the top four and 14% chance of winning the title. It may be early, but we can probably already start looking ahead to the Nov. 9 showdown between the Tigers and Alabama, which will go a long way toward determining the actual playoff participants. The Crimson Tide currently sit at No. 2 in the Allstate Playoff Predictor odds, at 73% to make the top four and 31% to win it all.

I'm just sayin....
I pretty sure he wants LSU to succeed regardless of who the HC is.

I’ve always enjoyed @TigerTap even throughout our back & fourth battles over the years. He’s an LSU guy at the end of the day.

I was just as unhappy as he was about the O Hire. And like many, I’m enjoying O’s success but as a Tiger fan it’s hard not to let it all hinge on the outcome of the Bama game.

Good for Les. I wish him great success at Kansas. I think he needed a fresh start.

He has his work cut out for him, It will be a lot harder for Kansas to compete for 4 and 5 star recruits against Texas, Oklahoma and the Big 12 than it was to compete with Bama, Georgia, Auburn and Florida in the SEC. When I think of Kansas I think of the Wizard of Oz.

I heard CLM set an NCAA record last night with the largest margin of victory as an underdog on the road against a power 5 opponent.

...........on a Friday night during week 3 on the east coast, while wearing white jersey’s against a team without a logo on their helmet.

But seriously, nice win for CLM. And according to the bear on espn it was a record win.

Of course he does. He may not like O, or agree O is the best person to lead LSU... but he doesn’t want LSU to lose.

Thanks @GREG & @LSU_4_LIFE

I dont understand why it's suddenly become necessary to "Love" or even like whoever the current LSU head coach. Funny the ones saying I hate Oeaux, absolutely & unquestionably hated Les Miles with a passion. And not just the last few years either. But I never asked them if they were still LSU fans.

It's true, I hate Oeaux, that's no secret. But I've never pulled for LSU to lose in my life & don't intend to start.

but then he'd need Miles to eff up at Kansas and get fired, so LSU could hire him back, but if....

if Tap wants to be happy he'd better become an O man, or a kansas one

No, I don't need to become an "O man" either. That's not happening. I pull for LSU as always, & have enjoyed seeing what Miles is doing at Kansas. He's got litterally one of the worst rosters in the Power 5, no joke. They were extremely competetive against the Mountain Mamas yesterday & honestly they shouldn't have been talent-wise. All their fans can ask at this point, is that they play as hard as possible & they did.

I’ve been slightly wrong about O so far but like championship hopes this year, I still think he could be fools gold. This season feels a lot like 2015. Super stud on offense that looks unstoppable (LF7) 7-0 and ranked in the initial CFP top 4 headed into Bama. And then........the wheels fell off. We all know what happened the following year. I’m afraid that’s where we are headed this year. Hell if we even get to Bama undefeated. Jury is still out with this defense. I think the creative coaches like Mullen and Malzahn will have their way with this unit (as painful as it is to type that). Both those teams have nasty ass front sevens and even though we get both at home, I’m not sure we can keep Burrow upright long enough and may lose one.

I think we are in trouble next year. When Burrow leaves, this offense is in trouble. I am not of belief that Brennan is the next Burrow. And now, it looks like we don’t have much of a defense to fall back on. We will lose Lawrence, Logan, Chaisson, Fulton, Delpit, Divinity, and maybe even a few others like Stevens and Phillips. Could potentially lose 8 of our 11 starters. Not all 8 would get drafted especially with how poor they are playing but half are still dumb enough to pull an Ed Alexander. And Coach O probably can’t talk them out of it.

We had 5 DL recruits coming in, that just dropped to 4 and may drop again once Saban takes his pick of our litter before NSD. No telling if Elias Ricks will still want to join what is looking less and less like DBU. Outside of Ricks, do we have any big name DB’s coming in?

No question this is Coach O’s chance for a big year. Because looking ahead, it’s scary. I don’t recommend anybody look ahead. I am trying to just enjoy the now and have fun this year.

BUT the big question still remains, do we have a coach who is building a team, or a program?

The different is that under Miles the team would mail in the rest of the season after losing to Alabama. So far Oeaux has gotten them to play well even the week after the loss.

And no, I don't think Brennan is anywhere near being the equal of Burrow. Still, he will be the starter next season unless this Parish kid who I know nothing about really steps up and takes the job or if we get another QB from the transfer portal.

Is there any way the portal can replicate another Joe Burrow?

Don't worry about our QB next year. Caca continually reminds us we always have AJ Aycock waiting in the wings, whoever the fuck that is. The fact that KikiCaca is high on Parish pretty much means I’m not. This is the guy arguing Mond is a top 4 QB and the best QB under pressure he has seen in 15 years. Sounds like A&M is sitting on the next Tom Brady. Well, maybe LSU is sitting on the next Tom Brady in AJ Aycock..........

I agree on O getting his team to not mail it in. It’s been a fun 1st third of the season and definitely going to be fun down the stretch. Let’s see how they handle adversity now that they’re in the national championship picture with higher expectations. Hopefully they have zero losses and zero adversity to face :D

Les Miles wore out his shit at LSU. Glad he is gone no matter what else happens in life. I will never say fuck Miles like I say Fuck Saban but it is obvious his time has past.
