Man that looks good. That’s one of my favorite foods. Seared ahi tuna. I could eat it by the pound.

It's supposed to be. You sear it, so it's cooked on the outside and rare on the inside. :D

I ordered grilled tuna at a restaurant one time. It was raw in the middle so I sent it back for more cooking.

I have much to teach you young grasshopper. :D

You are a bass fisherman. I don't know whether bass have worms or not but I am a saltwater fisherman and I have seen worms in the filets of redfish, trout and drum, especially the large ones. Tuna is a saltwater fish. About 15 years ago a friend of mine ate at one of the better Japanese sushi restaurants. He got worms from the sushi that took 2 years to get rid of.

I don't eat Bass just because there's too many things out there that taste better, but regardless of what it is, I pay attention for worms.

I prefer King/Coho Salmon, Flounder, White Perch, Walleye, and Bream.

I never ate walleye and I'm not a big fan of salmon. I like speckled trout, sac-au-lait, redfish, flounder. Bream can taste great if you fry them right. Since I don't get to go fishing as much anymore I probably eat more catfish than any other species. There are a lot of ways to cook fish other than frying. The other night I found a package of frozen tilapia filets in my freezer that only God knows how long had been there. I pan sauted them with olive oil and garlic. Tasted great.

I cook Salmon in the skillet with extra virgin olive oil, flounder, sec trout, and red snapper blackened, the rest; white perch bream, walleye, bream... fried in peanut oil.

Where do you get walleye? Isn't that a northern fish?

Yes. I lived in Iowa during High School and College. I lived right on the Mississippi River... walleye was very abundant. Best fresh water fish in the world.
