Tigers Earn Hard Fought Draw Against Mississippi State

BATON ROUGE - The LSU (2-11-3, 0-6-2) soccer team played hard against the visiting Bulldogs of Mississippi State (7-7-2, 2-4-2) and earned a draw by a final score of 2-2 in a match that went the full 110 minutes. The Tigers got both of their goals in the first half as Meghan Johnson scored in the 4th minute to even the match at 1 after the Bulldogs got on the board early. In the 38th minute, Rammie Noel scored her first career goal to square things up at 2-2. Emma Grace Goldman finished the match with eight saves as the Tigers were outshot 32-11 overall and 10-6 with shots on goal. With the loss, LSU falls to 2-11-3 overall and 0-6-2 in the SEC. With the win, the Bulldogs improve to 7-7-2 overall and 2-4-2 in the league.
